Skiing in Summer & Autumn
The glacier region in Hintertux is also unique in summer and autumn. Skiing in summer is more and more popular. Modern ski lifts take you in just a couple of minutes from 1,500 m to 3,250 m above sea level. 10 to 18 km of ski pistes and up to 10 ski lifts are open in summer. The longest ski run is approximately 2 km long and ends directly in front of the sunny terrace of the panoramic restaurant Tuxer Fernerhaus at 2,660m above sea level.
