Summertime skiing on the most beautiful and only all-year-round ski area, the Hintertux Glacier. Summer skiing has seen a recent surge in popularity. State-of-the-art ski lifts take you up from 1,500m to 3,250m above sea level in a couple of minutes only. Between 10 and 18 km of ski runs and 10 ski lifts are open in summer as well. The longest ski run is 2 km long and ends directly by the sunny terrace of the panoramic restaurant Tuxer Fernerhaus at 2,660 meters above sea level.
Tux Sportbus
The modern Sportbus takes you around the
entire Tux Valley from village to village free of charge and in the utmost
comfort. Take the Sportbus from Tux to the ski lift, cross-country ski slope or
hiking track.
