    We don't have fixed arrival days - because every guest and every vacation is individual. You are welcome to check in at the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten on any day of the week, subject to availability.

SUMMER

  • Healthy, pollen-free altitude climate
    Generally speaking, the higher the altitude, the lower the pollen count. At an altitude of 1,500 meters, here in Hintertux, the pollen count is significantly lower than in the lowlands. And deep breathing is therefore no problem for allergy sufferers. By the way: thanks to the high altitude climate, the nights are pleasantly cool - perfect for falling asleep and sleeping through the night.
  • Free activity program
    With our free activity program, we show you the most beautiful corners of our homeland. Explore the Zillertal together with us and our guides. Various hikes, summit ascents and family excursions are on the program. The highlight of every week is the glacier hike, which takes us up to 3,250 meters on the Hintertux Glacier.
  • Hiking information center
    In our information center you will find detailed nature guides, flora and fauna books and hiking maps. We are also happy to help you personally with your tour planning.
  • A place in the sun on our sunbathing lawn
    Our spacious sunbathing lawn with comfortable loungers, beach chairs and parasols is the perfect place for sunbathing. Surrounded by woods, meadows and mountains, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoy the peace and quiet in this beautiful and sheltered spot.

WINTER

  • Skiing right to the front door
    With us, you can start your skiing fun right from the front door. Ski-in & ski-out: The Hotel Vierjahreszeiten is located directly at the valley station of the glacier lift. From here, you can ski up to 3,250 meters. By the way: The Hintertux Glacier is open 365 days a year - so snow is guaranteed with us.
  • Free activity program
    Discover the wintry Zillertal together with our guides. While skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or tobogganing, you can brave the cold and snow and enjoy the natural surroundings.
  • Early bird skiing
    Rise and shine and hit the slopes! Together with Silvia or Frank, you can take the first gondola up the mountain every Friday in winter. Just under 12 km of pure fun on the slopes later, you'll be back at the hotel and enjoy the sumptuous breakfast buffet at the Vierjahreszeiten.
  • Free ski bus
    In winter, a free ski bus runs from Hintertux to Finkenberg.
  • Ski pass at the reception
    We will be happy to issue your ski pass at reception. If you like, you can also book the ski pass directly with your online booking.

Worth knowing

HOTEL GENERAL

  • Are pets allowed?
    Pets are not only allowed at the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten, they are very welcome. For cleaning we charge € 21,- per day without food. Please bring your own blankets, baskets etc. for your pets. From July to September our Ofenstube is reserved for guests with dogs. In winter, pets are not allowed in the dining rooms.
  • What services are available for families with children?
    Whether big or small - everyone is welcome here. As part of the ¾ gourmet board, there are all kinds of treats for the little ones too. In the evening, we serve a delicious children's menu every day, and of course you can also choose something from the adults' menu. We also provide a crib with crib linen, high chairs, baby monitors and a children's bathrobe free of charge. Fun and excitement are also guaranteed. Many digital and analog games are available in our games world. Of course, children are also welcome guests in our free activity program. After all, exploring is best done together.
  • Can the ski pass be purchased at the hotel?
    Yes, you can buy your ski pass from us at reception.
  • Which sports stores are nearby?
    You can buy rental equipment, sporting goods, accessories and fashion at Intersport Hintertux (right next door) or Sport Nenner (Gletscherbahn valley station).
  • How far away are the slopes and lifts?
    At the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten it's ski-in and ski-out. In winter, you can ski right up to the front door. The valley station of the Hintertux Glacier Lift is approx. 100 meters away.

  

ROOMS

  • Are there special rooms for allergy sufferers?
    Yes, dogs are not allowed in some of our rooms. These are therefore perfect for anyone allergic to animal hair. There is also good news for all pollen allergy sufferers: our hotel is located at 1,500 meters. At this altitude, there is hardly any pollen count - perfect for allergy sufferers.
  • What facilities do the rooms have?
    Depending on the size and category of the room, there are one or more bedrooms and bathrooms. All our rooms have the following facilities: balcony, flat-screen TV with 40 channels and panorama channel, free Wi-Fi, tablet, telephone, hairdryer, bathrobe and wellness bag with slippers, sauna towels and safe.
  • What is included in the room price?
    You can book our rooms either with breakfast only or with our ¾ gourmet board. In addition to a hearty breakfast, the gourmet board also includes a small afternoon snack and a multi-course menu of your choice. Apples and fresh mountain spring water are also available to you free of charge (except at mealtimes). All stays include many inclusive services, such as use of the hotel's own wellness area or free participation in the weekly activity program.
  • Can dogs stay in the room alone?
    Yes, our four-legged friends are also allowed to stay in the room alone. Please make sure that your dogs do not make themselves comfortable on the bed or sofa.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

  • When is check-in and check-out?
    Check-in: from 15:00.
    Check-out: until 10:00 am.
    Direct bookers have earlier access to their room, subject to availability, and can use the room for longer on the day of departure by arrangement. The hotel services start at 15:00 on the day of arrival and end after breakfast on the day of departure.
  • Is there parking in front of the hotel?
    There are plenty of parking spaces available for our guests directly in front of the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten. If you arrive by public transport, we will be happy to pick you up at the train station in Mayrhofen.
  • On which days is it possible to arrive?
    You can arrive on any day of the week, subject to availability.
  • Can I also arrive by train?
    Arrival by train is also possible without any problems. At Jenbach station, you can take the Zillertalbahn to Mayrhofen. We will pick you up from Mayrhofen with our free shuttle.

WELLNESS

  • Is there a wellness area?
    Yes, the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten has a beautiful wellness area with swimming pool, various saunas, relaxation rooms and a sunbathing lawn in summer.
  • What are the opening hours of the wellness area?
    Swimming pool: 07.00 - 19.00
    Saunas: 15.00-19.00 hrs
  • Are children allowed in the wellness area?
    Yes, children are also welcome in our wellness area.
  • Is there a fitness room?
    Yes, during your stay there is a fitness room with training equipment for strength and endurance.

CULINARY

  • What is included in the ¾ gourmet board?
    In addition to a hearty breakfast, the gourmet board also includes a small afternoon snack and a multi-course menu of your choice. Apples and fresh mountain spring water are also available to you free of charge (except during meals).
  • Where do the ingredients come from?
    We pay attention to excellent quality in all our food and source it from the region whenever possible. For example, the butter, yogurt and milk come from local farmers, the cheese from the Zillertal and the bread from a bakery in nearby Lanersbach.
  • Are dogs allowed in the dining room?
    In summer, four-legged friends are also allowed to eat in our Ofenstube.
  • What about special dietary requirements?
    As far as possible, we are happy to cater for allergies and certain diets. However, we do not offer vegan cuisine. Please let us know in advance so that we can find the best possible solution for you.
