The majestic mountain views combined with the variety of slopes and ski runs will remain in your memory for a long time to come after your ski holidays in the Tuxertal valley.

For your perfect equipment simply go to the sports shop Sport Nenner or Intersport Hintertux where you can buy and rent state-of-the-art equipment.

The fact that four seasons can make something so wonderful out of a landscape is probably due to nature’s magic itself. If your gaze wanders far upwards, the splendour of the Hintertux glacier looms majestically white. Here the eternal ice rests at 3,250 metres above sea level. On the trail of the mysterious glacier world - the hike across the eternal ice with the state-certified mountain guide is an experience that you will only find at the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten.

THE ski trail for kids.

The Hintertux Glacier has a very special highlight in store for adventurous young winter athletes.

Kidsslope Hintertux is home to Luis, a little Glacier Flea, who invites children to take a fun journey.

The kids’ course is located away from the regular slopes and is perfect for little skiers. A slope for kids can also be found in the relatively flat beginner’s area of the Sommerbergalm ski area.

The Kids-Funpark has two exciting tunnels made completely of snow. Ski through the tunnels and then test your balance on the waves. At the end of the course, you’ll see two big hands – ski past and be sure to get not one, but two, high fives! And pay a visit to Luis to hear him say goodbye before you hit the slopes.

The Flohpark Hintertux is not just for kids and beginners – skiers who haven’t hit the slopes in a while can practice and refresh their moves. You’ll meet funny Luis again – he’ll offer support with modern conveyor belt lifts, beginners’ lifts and a carousel.

The Flohpark Hintertux is located near the last run of the “Schwarze Pfanne” trail – in other words, right near the Hotel Vierjahreszeiten – and is open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the winter. The kids’ ski parks are free.

Snowy adventures for guests young and old

The Funslope Hintertux is home to skiing adventures for adults and children in the Sommerbergalm winter ski resort. Fun and action await you on the Funslope as you speed along steep curves, over an oversized figure-eight, through a giant twister or along the two-lane wave track.

At the beginning of the course, the speed booster featuring turbo sounds gives you a boost to really get up speed. After conquering the steep turns your next challenge awaits: the figure eight takes you over and through several tunnels. After that, two lanes leave you free to choose which way to go. Whichever track you choose, you can’t miss the giant twister! Curve around in a circle then zoom through a tunnel and you’ll almost be at the finish line. But be careful! The wave track requires the utmost concentration! If you prefer a more athletic, faster pace, take the left lane over a curved box, across a bridge and finally jump over the small hill. If you want a more colourful and entertaining trail opt for the right lane. Here you’ll see many huge hands waiting to be high fived. The Funslope mascot Slopy is never at a loss for words or a joke – so watch out and keep up your concentration!

With so many possibilities, one trip on the Funslope is never enough! The four-seat Tuxerjoch chair lift takes you right back up to the starting point.
